Hello Blog spot, my old friend...

It's been a while... to say the least. Still keeping busy and excited to share the latest!

The request was letters for miss Addison. The theme... browns, pink, teals, giraffes, monkeys, ballet and a little fishing themed.

Here's what I came up with!

DJ, they're in the mail today!! Happy Holidays!

More to come, this is all I could fit in with a 10 month old crawling around my feet for attention :)

Baby Landon

Loved doing these letters for Baby Landon's Room. He has great parents and although I've learned that I GREATLY struggle doing sports theme's.... it was worth it!

Landon was the name my husband and I had picked out if we had a boy when I was pregnant with Harper so after doing this project we stayed up all night thinking of cool names for baby #2. :)

Hannah and Brandon thanks for letting me help to decorate your boy's room I had a great time! If you're ever in the Phoenix area stop and say hi!

Getting it done

Finally! Got a few finished enough to take a few pictures! Harper was kind enough to sleep in an extra hour for me this morning so that I could snap these shots...
The first is my first charity work, which includes a small sample and a $50 gift card towards any custom order. The charity is the Make A Wish Foundation.

The next pictures are for a piece for a girl who said I love hearts and my room is white, off white, black, copper, brushed silver and I plan on adding hints of green. Here's what I came up with...

I smell Fall A-Coming

It's been a while since my last blog, busy, busy, busy. Getting ready for my favorite season and with that comes some new inspiration!
I wish we had more fall colors here in the desert but at least there will be more outdoor activities!

This Friday night we are attending First Fridays in Downtown Phoenix, which is all local artists, musicians and vendors showing their tribute to urban living. I can't wait! I'm probably going to want to go every friday from then on, so if anyone wants to tag along feel free!

Then of course you can't do fall without a pumpkin patch... at least when you have kids. any excuse to dress my daughter up for Halloween is going to be taken advantage of. For this we will be headed to Schnepf Farms. We are still looking for that perfect first halloween costume for her so please share and recommendations!

Can't wait for some out door activities after a long hot summer staying in the AC. Be ready for some new colors in the canvas! Yeah Fall!

Happy Wednesday!

I've got some new items I'm going to put up for sale. I haven't finished sealing them but I couldn't wait to take some pictures! My new favorite is the imagine, the colors are seeming to resemble the colors of the clothes in my closet and the paint on my walls.
These two are most definitely a reflection of my taste.

Love this life!

I'm enjoying my cup of coffee, while I sit back and watch Harper crawl around and explore the living room. (She is quickly teaching me what needs to be baby proofed in my home)

Watching her makes me was to list the items I'm thankful for today:

  • My trader Joe's cup of coffee (Yes it's all about the simple things in life)

  • My three dogs who try everyday to prove that Harper is as much their baby as she is ours.

  • My husband for being the most beautiful person I've ever known.

  • My mom for passing on her emotional mom gene which is most likely what inspired this blog post.

  • My in-laws for being the best in-laws anyone could hope for.

  • Last but not least for today, my little peanut who is crawling all over the floor right out of her own pants.

Two years ago if someone told me I would be married with a 7 month old baby I would've called them crazy. Now I can't imagine anything I could be doing in life that would make me even a fraction as happy as I am right now!

Lucky me :)

Love to love the ocean

We took a trip to Coronado Beach this last week and had a blast. I would love to wake up every morning to the sounds and smell of the ocean. We walked everywhere we went and didn't even use the car until the drive home.

Bliss

I wish I could not only be this flexible, but enjoy my own foot as much as my daughter enjoys posing for this picture :)

Mr. Parker and Ms. Olive

Here are a few pieces for my nephew Parker, first time I've worked on a sports theme... challenging!

This one is for Ms. Olive... mom wanted an owl theme, I'm in love with the background design and wish that they made wall paper!

Phoenix Children's Art Museum

Wow, had the best time today at the Children's Art Museum in Phoenix! Can't wait to go back once Harper is old enough to run around and truly appreciate all the fantastic art, crafts and play gyms they have to offer.

Here's my little Harper showing her excitement!
Here's one of the group (some of my favorite people in the world) minus Harper who was taking a break in the stroller when this picture was taken. We were standing in front of the pool noodle maze... so cool!

She's a Girly Girl

Yesterday my husband's Grandmother said she wanted a canvas for her 5 year old granddaughter. She specified that she's a girly girl so use lot's of pink.

Pink you shall receive! :)

Fresh Start!

Just put Harper to sleep and I'm enjoying my cup of coffee excited to officially enter my first post on my new blog. Today I'm looking for craft and art shows to display my new work at. Trying to get the word out is going to be my greatest challenge. A challenge I'm up for, after 6 months with my new baby at home I'm ready for a little variety! (Not that a 6 month old baby isn't enough of a challenge)
Anyways, I hope you like my work and if you do I hope you know someone who might be interested. I'm excited to get some custom orders going! Feel free to pass this on! :)

Happy Friday to all!
